I put this in the bedroom of my condo. I set it so the vent is closed from 9 am to 10 pm. (I get home from work at 11pm)and my power bill is lower for the month used it.

one thing i dont like about it is that it opens all the way. I cant set it so its so its blowing down in to the room. Also it does block some air flow when its open.
