About the Author

Daryl Bernstein is a lifetime entrepreneur. At the age of 8, he started his first business, a lemonade stand. At the age of 12, he spotted a need and founded Global Video on his family's kitchen table. As a teenager, he grew the business into the leading U.S. producer and distributor of educational videos. When Daryl was 24, Nasdaq-listed School Specialty, Inc., the nation's largest school supplier, acquired Global Video.

Daryl is the author of The Venture Adventure and Better Than a Lemonade Stand, both originally written when Daryl was just a teenager. He is now the founder and CEO of RightSignature, a software-as-a-service company providing the easiest, fastest way to get documents signed. The only reason I give this book a two stars is precisely because it is only occasionally that it manages to tell some important insight.

There are quite a lot of book out regarding business there which you shall find much more useful.

First, this is the type of book you have to read in a frequent manner one chapter at a time, because its analogies ar for reflections on the various activities you face while on your own.

I like the analogies of comparing your start-up activity as a adventure into unknown and potentially hostile enviroment. Its good advice told by those who are there and can look at those who have not stsated, but are thriving to start, in a helpful and practical way.

Wont say its life altering, but when you are there on your own, every bit of help helps.
