We bought ours for christmas and there really is no major problem with the unit except I cannot hear the speakers that sit on either side of you in the back The sound is really loud in the front but hear nothing in the back. Also The radio function is good but you cannot hear A.M radio just FM. It was a good price and I guess you get what you pay for.

I've had mine (2nd one) going over 2 years. The 1st one I brought back due to the fade to B&W about half way thru the movie (approx 60 to 80 minutes into movie). 2nd one is going like a champ. The fade to B&W is from the cooling fan circuitry failing. The fan itself works, but the temp sensor for the amps fail, causing the amps to overheat (loss of color and fade to B&W). Fan does not stay on the whole time the unit is one, just when the amps get to predetermined temp. I agree about the "boot" time of the system upon turn on.

This product is great if you like "please Wait" because thats what you'll be seeing a lot. everytime you want to change the function, or trun it on!! it's a very slow unit, i never thought i'd have to "boot up" my DVD player!
and . . . there is no display on the tv for the volume etc. . everything is displaied on a tackey monochrome display on the unit itself.
But the Worst Part is the fact that i cannnot watch a DVD without the picture going Black&White half way through. sence my palyer in older than the whole 90 day warentee pariod. i not only would have to pay to get it fixed but it would have to shiped at my expence and the repair would take 6 MONTHS!!!!

This is a truly poor product form a poor company
