This messenger is great, I use it for my training classes and I have gotten a few compliments, even from my boss :) There two diagonal zip pockets under the flap. A very large main pocket, I could fit: 2" binder, turn-lock wallet, notebook, pencil case (also VB), cell phone and Ipod touch. I still had room for more. The back features a zipper pocket the entire length and width. Which is nice to keep more secure things in. The shoulder rest is made of cloth and the slider is made of metal. Over-all great bag.

I absolutely love this bag. I am able to fit my laptop, power cord, and laptop stand in this bag and it still closes. the pockets are plentiful perfect for your mouse, pens and paper. The adjustable strap is very comfortable.

there was honestly nothing i disliked about it. When buying this online Amazon kept me informed on it the whole time on where the package was and it arrived right on time. The product was perfect not damaged at all, better than buying in the store. Only sad part was there weren't any pockets on the side for water bottles i was expecting that.

Purchased this as a carry all for traveling. Can stuff my SLR camera & a couple of lenses & feel confident that it will be protected the softness/padding of Vera Bradley's fabric. The colors are the best....so fun. Also, not worried about any of my items falling out due to zippers & catch strap system.

Love the pattern, very fun and cheerful. I use this bag for weekend travel with my students, and it easily holds my tablet, file folders of tournament information and papers to grade, as well as wallet and phone and chargers and basic "purse stuff." Only wish is that the top flap could be sturdier, tends to bend a bit more than I'd like.

This is a very versatile and handy bag for carrying everything from documents to laptop to baby things. It's sturdy, roomy, easy to wash, secure with many compartments and zip pockets, adjustable strap and lightweight. This particular pattern is one of the newer and in my opinion, more attractive patterns - the colors are appealingly subtle and the design is more contemporary than the "countyish" patterns of years past. This is the third Vera Bradley messenger bag I've purchased. They're are not inexpensive, but very worthwhile and well made.

It is over priced, but my wife loves this bag, what can I say she uses it daily for her computer and books.

This is a great little messenger bag. I love the adjustable shoulder strap. You're able to clamp down the flap which is nice. There's plenty of room inside for my textbook, my Surface 3 w/keyboard and a couple of notepads, and my wallet with enough room left over for a bottle of water. There are 2 things I wish were different: 1st, the little diagonal zippered pockets just under the flap are pretty useless. They're awkward to get in and out of and don't hold very much, you can stash your keys in there. If they were straight across & deeper, you'd be able to use them more. 2nd, I wish there was a zipper on the front flap, somewhere to stash pens and highlighters without digging around in the bag. I'm guessing that's what those little zippers underneath were for, but they don't work. Anyway, it's a great bag & overall I guess I'd buy it again.

I have always carried a large bag for work, over the last 5 years or so I have carried the Vera Vera bag. Don't get me wrong the bag was great and held everything! But it was always slipping off my shoulder, so I decided to give the messenger bag a try. I love this bag, it does not have as many pockets as the vera vera bag and you have the flap to deal with, but not having the bag slip off my shoulder constantly is the biggest plus! The strap is long and wide, I can just slip it over my head and use it as a cross body or carry it like a shoulder bag! I give this bag 2 thumbs up!!
