The first chiminea arrived and it looked like the box had rolled down a hill and/or bounced off the truck(several times). We immediately contacted Amazon about it and the fact that one section was broken in several pieces. Being it's cast iron they must've dropped it good to do that. Regardless,Amazon dealt with the problem right then and UPS showed up bright and early the next morning and retrieved the package. A brand new(unbroken)replacement chiminea arrived within a few short days.It's a beautiful addition to our outdoor living space and I can see ourselves spending more time out on the patio now. I love the fact that it's cast iron, it should last quite some time. If you have a lot of twigs and sticks in your yard it's a great way to get rid of them, guys, your wives will have that yard picked up ready for mowing in no time.

I purchased this last year & have used it quite a bit. It is so nice & romantic to sit in front of on my deck on chilly evenings. I looked at several Chimeneas from other e-tailers that were very similar to this one except they cost 2 - 3 times more. This one was an outstanding value & still looks new even after sitting on my deck in several feet of snow, although it was covered with a large heavy duty trash bag. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, but be sure to open the box while the shipper is still present in case there is any damage as other people have experienced although mine was fine.

Ordered online last Xmas and finally got around to opening it this weekend. I was dismayed to see that the top half of the 'bulb' had literally cracked in half.
