These seem to burn really well. I've gone through three packs now without a single lost DVD. By the way, if you have a lightscribe burner and haven't tried the actual label burning yet, you've gotta try it. The labels look really good (considering that they're burned on), but the burning of the label can take more than 20 minutes if it's a complex label.

Overall a great product here in these DVDs.

I've burned 25 of these in an HP Lightscribe drive with only 1 coaster. To be fair, the coaster was the one disc I burned the graphics on before burning the content on the disc. My 16X HP drive will only burn these at 2.4X but my Iomega drive will burn them at 16X. The graphics are monochrome (black burned onto a gold background). It takes roughly 20 minutes to burn a high quality graphic on the disc. The DVD's have played flawlessly in every DVD player I've tried. Excellent!

All DVDs burned 100% with no exceptions and the Lightscribe labels were sharp and clear. Of the many diffrent brands I have tried Verbatim has always been about the best to date for quality as well as value.

I've burned nearly 60 of these and never had a single problem. The images are dark, *much* better than the HP equivalents. The HP discs I've used had faint images (which is funny since it's their technology!) and about 1 out of every 4 HP had a bad data side.
I can't say enough good things about the Verbatims... buy these and save yourself some headaches!

I like the LightScribe concept - no sticking on lables that eventually start to come off. I have used 3 of these Verbatim LightScribe DVD's and the details that were burnt onto the DVD's were sharp, but it was a little hard to see as the DVD itself has a flat, dusty-gold color which doesn't contrast well with the grayscale designs that get burnt on. So, though the designs are sharp, they don't pop out at you. This would work much better on a lighter colored CD.

These work really well - if you are having trouble seeing what was burnt onto the label side, you can burn it as many times as you want. Just close the cd case and click print again. It has a spot that tells it where to start so it will burn right over the original image and just make it darker. Don't do it more than 3 times because after that you begin to lose contrast and it starts getting worse... but it gets it very black!

As a Professional Photographer, Impressions are everything. Verbatim LightScribe DVD's deliver that quickly and easily for an economical price. I have a high investment in my images and I do not trust them to be stored on just any Media. I have had Memorex fail. I have had to hand write data labels on other media. I have had paper labels come unstuck from the humidity in Houston Texas. For a Truly Professional look, feel, and performance. Verbatim LightScribe DVD's are the only product that I use and recommend.

This product is excellent. In fact, I would burn the whole pack of these disks just for fun, that's how I love to do it! I just cannot stop! I made a DVD disk with photo slide-show for my parents as a present and created very cool label with 5 different pictures and text on it. My parents could not believe me, that I made it by myself.
You can get a lot of ideas for label designs on the Internet or create your own style. The software is free for download and fun to use. The quality of the disks are also very good.
