These may be on the slow side (only 2x - 4x recording speed), but they work in my computer (an intel duo iMac, using OS 10.4.11) where others don't (namely Memorex CD-RW, although other Memorex CDs, the CD-R type, have worked with my system), & that's what matters the most. They come with slim CD cases for individual storage of the CDs, & each has an insert that can be written on, to record the contents of the CD. If recording speed is what you're looking for, look elsewhere, but be aware that faster recording speed sometimes translates to "won't work with my computer."

Great item exactly as described, unfortunately will not work for what I need. Needed DVD-RW and didn't realize it. Will be keeping these to burn a few mix cd's though

They do exactly what they say they'll do. I've had no problems with burning, erasing, and then burning again. The colors are an added bonus and can help you organize if that's what you're in to. lol

I recently purchased these CD-RW discs to use with my older Macs. The discs are great. The box is a tear-away cardboard that holds them nicely and compactly. Each disc is one of five colors with a matching case. The colors are beautiful, almost exact replicas of the old five "flavored" iMac G3s- Tangerine (orange), Strawberry (pink), Blueberry (blue), Lime (green), and Grape (purple). There is a nice pad of white, Verbatim-labeled lined inserts included in the box.

I burned four discs with Toast Titanium and Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) using an ancient, external, FireWire CD writer (my Super Drive just conked out) and they came out perfectly. Only rewrote one, because I wanted to change the content of the disc slightly, but that worked fine as well. The discs play well on Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger) as well as Leopard, as expected. I recommend these discs if you have an older burner, or if you burn slow for accuracy despite the speed of your drive. Verbatim is one of the better disc makers, and these discs live up to all of my expectations. Verbatim makes these discs in a 12x speed as well, but the 2x/4x is just what I was looking for anyway.

I shut my brain off when i ordered this item not the vendors fault was ooking for 3 inch CD-RWs. but will find a use for these as well they are rather colorful.
