I've burned 75 of these discs and haven't had a coaster yet. 75 for 75. they burn at 24x..which is fine. i just love these. i collect old vinyls and this makes my newer music look cool as well. get em while they're hot...

These CD-R's are not only sexy but reliable. A couple of months ago I bought a 25-pack spindle from Amazon and got kind of addicted to burning for no particular reason. This is strange because I never thought of being mesmerized by the looks and performance of a commonplace like CD-R. They are just awesome. Even before they were gone, I had to place another order on Amazon and this time for a 50-pack spindle. Use them and see for yourself.

I bought these for our retro themed wedding save the dates.
Of the 100 or so I burned only 1 didn't work and we burned them at a higher speed.
My guest are still raving about the look and I even had to burn a few extras for co-workers that didn't get one.

...welcome back to when you used to play your 45 records on your own stereo. You could even stack then in the sequence you would like to heard that and you could have music for almost an hour without fiddling with your stereo.

These discs look just like those. Nostalgia, for the win!

I have been buying the verbatim disc for nearly 2 years with great results. The Cd's I purchased from Amazon on the spool seemed inferior in every way to those I have purchased before. I use them for Karaoke CDG recordings and they fail regularly and have a much more pronounced inclusions of garbage in the text. Very disappointed and won't buy again. The metal disks I purchased work more like the Verbatim Vinyl I'm used to.

I was looking for something different than the usual CD-Rs for promoting a local Springsteen Tribute Band called No Surrender (www.NoSurrenderBand.com). These worked out perfect for burning their Live performances. The band gets to hear how they sound live and the discs just look really cool.
Take a look at the 30th Anniversary Ed. of Born to Run... you'll see they used one of these for the Remastered Audio CD. If it's good enough for Bruce, It's good enough for me.
(4 stars is my best because No one gets 5 stars unless it is Truly Amazingly Awesome!)

Having had a horrible ratio with Memorex CD-Rs, I have never had to throw away a Verbatim CD-R because it was could not read data ... positively pleased.

I think it would be fine if you burn them at slower rate. I burn them at 8x and they play fine. But if I burn them at 12x or higher then the first couple of songs will not play properly and then it plays fine. You would have to burn a couple at different speeds to find out the optimal speed for ur system.

I purchased the 50 disc spindle. I love how it looks! I was burning 1950's music as party favors for my husband's 50th birthday party. As I was burning CDs, I discovered that most of the CDs weren't recording. There were more than a dozen that were just useless. Maybe the spindle I got was just full of bad discs. I have to buy more to replace the ones that didn't work. :(

Ordered 5 packs of the Vinyl CDs. They arrived in 4 different delivery's, all of which had a couple of damaged/broken cds because the spindles had split open. Total of 9 damaged or broken cds. Not too bad out of a total of 250! A little bit more care in the packing would have helped. However the cds themselves are great.
