5.0 out of 5 stars Verbatim Media is very reliable
I have been using Verbatim optical media for many years. They are considered one of the highest quality in the industry. Although this particular disk is not of archival grade, it should be excellent for general use for many decades. The print surface yields very good matte photo quality. And the printable hub is a plus.

1.0 out of 5 stars Total Crap
I bought two rungs of these and they were total total crap. Maybe one out of ten of them worked, and when I was able to get it to burn it would barely play the songs in cd players. I tried to burn them on 3 different burners and played them back on 4 different CD players. Not worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply the best, February 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Ok, I'm in the business (no not that business, I author DVDs and CDs and I'm really fussy) so I can tell you, these are simply the best.

Many bulk CD-Rs give off fumes and smell (that can't be good for you) - especially when writing - these don't. You want inkjet printable, not labels - because labels can come off in your player and wreck it. You want hub printable - because the image should cover as much of the surface as possible. And you want Verbatim because their quality control is the best.

And yes.. These also are the CD-Rs Monk would use IMHO.

This product has the best performance of several products we've tested. It has low noise in writing and during use.

Havent had a problem with these so far.

The only Cons of these are the smell they first give off when you open the package. Kinda like a sharpie smell, well i kinda enjoyed the smell now that i think of it. HA.

Oh and just in case your wondering. Yes that is how they come packaged, the picture is identical of how you will recieve em.

Better have a spiral cd holder ready cause you will need it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best CD-Rs Around..., April 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is the second 100pk of Verbatim CD-Rs that I've used and I will say that I never have trouble using them. You can't go wrong with Verbatim! Also you can print on the Hub. The prints look great with my Epson RX680 printer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Prints great, Records great, Plays great, January 30, 2012

They come without the spindle which is fine with me. These CDs are great for recording audio and music or data. I have an ink jet (HP 309A)and it prints beautifully on these CDs. I have used almost all of the 100 and all have been good, no coasters yet. I would highly recommend them. I also find the price is very reasonable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Verbatim cd review, November 28, 2011

I was very pleased with the quality of artwork that could be applied to the inkjet printable cds. They look very impressive. I was less impressed that 5% (5 of 100)of the cds would not accept the data being burned onto them. I don't have data to determine if this is the norm for failures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, great results - I've already reordered, October 30, 2011

This is my first experience both in duplicating in bulk and in printing the label directly on the disc. Bought a spindle of 100 - all copied perfectly without problem, no coasters in the bunch (using a Microboards duplicator). Then I printed right on the discs with a Canon Pixma printer - came out wonderful, dried immediately. Impressive, professional look and sound. I needed to print more and looked locally (Sam's Club, Office Max, Best Buy, etc.) and could not find this brand, only found injet printables in the Maxell brand and they were much more costly ($19.99 for a spindle of 30), so I came right back to Amazon to re-order.
