Vere Chappell is a writer, photographer, and researcher specializing in sexuality and spirituality. He travels extensively, studying and documenting sacred sexuality in art, history, and culture around the world.
A recognized expert on Ida Craddock, he has lectured about her life and works in numerous venues over the past 10 years, and contributed a paper on Craddock to the Disinformation anthology The Book of Lies in 2003.
He holds a doctorate in human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, and is an international officer of Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.), an esoteric religious order which incorporates sacred sexuality in its teachings.
He lives in Southern California with his wife and colleague, Lita-Luise Chappell.
