Best Pedometer Ever - So Easy to Use!

I work in an office setting and sit most of the day. Recently, I had to do a project that required several hours of movement over two days - mostly being on my feet and walking throughout the building. Having recently started a new year's resolution of working out and dieting, I was curious how well this activity in the workplace might be benefiting me. My legs were so sore after the first day that I decided to wear a pedometer on the second day to see how far I was walking and how many calories I was burning.
The Veridian Multi-Function Pocket Pedometer helped answer my questions! I've had small "freebie" pedometers in the past that rely on an inner clicker to record movement. This one does not. It's thin sleek design made it fit in my pocket with ease and go completely unnoticed. It never got in my way like the pedometers that you clip onto your pocket. I also like that this one only has two buttons. Once you read through the instructions and get the hang of it, it's easy to navigate and simple to use.
It records your number of steps, distance walked, and most importantly the number of calories you've burned. You can set it to a 12 hour or 24 hour setting, and it also stores your last 7 days of information so you can track your progress over a week's time if you want. My only small negative comment about it is when you are setting it up, there's no way to correct a step if you mess up so you have to start completely over. It doesn't take long, but it was still frustrating the very first time when I was setting it up. But once I got through the set up, I have no complaints at all. The pedometer even shuts off after two minutes of recording no activity, and immediately turns back on when you pick it up.
I would highly recommend this pedometer to my friends or family who do a lot of walking or want to use a pedometer as part of their weight loss program! I've added walking to my exercise routine on the weekends and can't wait to use the pedometer to see how well I'm doing!
