Do you notice they don't tell you how many lumens these things give off?
Why do you think that is?
It's because a 75-watt Verilux bulb makes about as much light a a normal 40-watt bulb. I have no idea whether it lasts for 5,000 hours because after about 2 years of use, it gets even dimmer--I threw it out while it still "worked".

Product features says 3 pack bulb replacement is actually 1 bulb with shipping adds up to just under $10 a bulb.
