It's bright, smartly built, sturdy...I deducted one star for the Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries that come with it. They only last about half the time they claim. I replaced them with Eneloop NiMH AA's and now I get 5 hours between charges. That will cost you another ten bucks, but you will have this thing for many years.

This light works well for use with my art projects. It fits on my small table or lap desk easily. It is actually rather steady with the fold out base that I can place it on my couch armrest for very portable situations.

Easy rechargeable battery. I'm very pleased with this lamp and would highly recommend it.

the charge holds for a good three hours and gives great light when it's on for working on my art projects... great little light and it's portable so if i ever have to travel it can go with me..it charges within a half hour and works well...

There's not.

As a night shift nurse this lamp became very important for me to be able to do nursing notes in a low light setting without going blind. True the batteries it comes with do not last an 8 hour shift. I havent bothered trying different ones yet. It is a great invention- compact, lightweight. great.

I was trying to find something compareable to the ott-lite. But this didn't come close. It seemed more like shining a flashlight on your work area. I purchased the ott-lite instead!
