5.0 out of 5 stars Most Powerfull home router available at this price October 11, 2010
this is a great router, anyone who knows anything about networking should love this. with 200,000 PPS (packets per second) dual 300MHz cpu and built in load balancing between the wan and coax ports this is an amazing router. i have never had an issue with this router. no matter how many connections i throw at it it keeps on going. iirc (if i recall correctly) it has an approx max connection limit of 200,000 active connections. more then even a heavy torrent user should ever see. this number is update and can be viewed in the connections area under the firewall tab on the routers main page. the number changes every now and then so im assuming the router is running tests on both itself and the line available to figure out about how many connections it could have

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent! August 10, 2011

I have Verizon FIOS and was looking for a way to extend my wired network and boost my wireless network. This router saved me from having to spend hundreds on a specialized MOCA adapter or thousands on wiring my house with ethernet/cat5. I have set this router up as a second access point on the same SSID in my bedroom. It brings internet to that room over the coax connection. I then run a cat5 cable from this router to my main pc and to a roku box under my bedroom TV, giving me wired connectivity across my house. This router also broadcasts a second wireless signal on a different channel than the (same) router in my living room, and my mobile devices automatically switch between channels as needed. Works beautifully. Setup took 20 or so minutes and was relatively straightforward.

4.0 out of 5 stars Old but good December 7, 2013

Decent 802.11B signal strength,
Originally purchase used and deplyoed as a cheap wireless router
with a separate cable modem;
flexible MOCA configuration supported redeployment for bridging
from TiVo Roamio to extend WiFi coverage.

Swapped out inefficient linear power supply for a switching supply.
Plenty of information available for use in various configurations.
