Stay Connected
The 595 is compatible with Verizon's BroadbandAccess and NationalAccess high-speed wireless data access plans. That means you can get the broadband-like speed you require to work efficiently outside the office.

A Verizon BroadbandAccess plan will give you the freedom to stay productive and connected whether you're on the road or in a meeting across town with broadband-like connection speeds. You will also receive NationalAccess service when outside the BroadbandAccess rate and coverage area. NationalAccess is available in thousands of cities and towns.

The NationalAccess plan is Verizon Wireless' national wireless Internet service, which enables users to access the Internet, email, attachments, and business applications with a laptop at average speeds of 60-80 kbps and bursts up to 144 kbps (you may experience slower data speeds).

Before checkout be sure to choose one of the previously mentioned Verizon wireless data plans to enjoy Unlimited access for Internet browsing, email, and Intranet access. Chose a plan that's right for you. Without a specified Verizon data plan, data service will be charged at 0.25 cents a minute.

Card Design and Features
The 595 comes with VZAccess Manager software for easy connection management right out of the box. Easy to install and use, the card features a high performance antenna designed for increased speed and coverage allowing you to easily connect from the comforts of your favorite coffee shop, in a board meeting, or on your sofa at home.

The card's intuitive user interface is easy to manage while the 32-bit CardBus interface (3.3V) was designed with lower power consumption in mind. The bright dual color LED indicator lets you know signal availability and data transfer status at a glance. There's even an optional external antenna connector for times when you need to boost connectivity. Lastly, the card supports the Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS).

VZAccess Manager is a new customizable tool that lets you manage remote access needs across the country. VZAccess Manager, developed by Verizon Wireless in conjunction with one of its parent companies, Vodafone, is available for BroadbandAccess and NationalAccess wireless PC cards, and Mobile Office Kits. It allows mobile professionals, business, and enterprise customers to easily access Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess and NationalAccess services, and their own Wi-Fi and dial-up networks so that they can stay connected wherever they go.

Previous post C.O. hit the nail on the head. In addition to getting dropped, when I could connect it was slower than promised. I also went round and round with Verizon's staff and took them 2 months to stop charging me. I was out $150 canx fee plus over $100 for the card. What a waste. I plan to cancel all Verizon services now. If you insist on getting this service pay the extra $20 per month and don't sign 2 year contract.

Upgraded to this Card from a non-Rev A. card and was getting consistant DL speed of 1.4-1.6MB This speed of course is achived when used in area where you get good signal. I've used this card for about 6 months and I can only remember 1 time where it used National access in stead of broadband access(most of times, even with low signal, it still connected Broadband access) 100% satisfied with this product.

I purchased the this pc air card and used the card for 1 year. The speed was very slow at best. I paid for broadband access but the majority of the time I was on the slower national access. I recently had problems where I could not stay connected for more than 10 minutes before being disconnected. After 4 days of not being able to connect to the internet I had to go out and buy a Novatel pc card. I am a stock trader and can not afford to be down for 4 or more days. The people at Verizon were absolute jerks. All I asked for was the service they said they would provide. Instead I got no service and a $175 cancellation fee.
