'Verliebt...' , February 28, 2006
I am really surprised to see this album available on Amazon. Being in the rave and club scene since the late 90's and as albums come and go in my collection, this album totally makes the grade. For an album that is almost a decade old, I have never heard anything that sounds even remotely similar (thanks to Paralyzer who produces most of the music and Blümchen's voice). Even to this day, I still listen to all her albums regularly. This album is special...
Although sung in all German, (you can find translation notes on the internet) I must say that the lyrics are fun, uncomplicated and simple. There are no heavy undertones in the lyrics and the music incorporated with the lyrics will make you want to dance and put you in good spirits. The songs are bright and colorful and will definitely bring a smile to your face, even if you don't understand the German language.
All songs on this album have a great happy hardcore and techno rhythm except Gib Mir Noch Zeit which is more of a ballad. All of the songs contained within the album speak of love, falling in love, jealousy, and relationships.
I have had the opportunity to purchase the gold edition of this album which includes a bonus CD with her music videos and pictures. I am glad that Verliebt is available on Amazon so others can be able to enjoy her songs. There is an English language version of this ablum called 'In Love...' which is somewhat difficult to find now, but if you can find it, do yourself a favor and pick it up.
It's a bit disappointing that she did not get a whole lot of recognition here in the United States as compared to Germany and Europe, because she is awesome! She sings from the heart and knows how to get you on the dance floor with your hands in the air. This is what makes her amazing in my opinion!
I have to say that this album is not for everyone. As with all music, you will either love it or hate it. Upon speaking with individuals whom I had the opportunity to share this album with, after listening to it some liked the album and some thought it was annoying. I most certainly love it! 5 stars does not do this album justice. If you enjoy happy hardcore, techno, and electronica music, this album is sure to please.
Although she has finished her music career in the year 2000, she will hold a special place in my heart and in my music library.

Just... WOW!, September 15, 2005
I first discovered happy hardcore in '99 and was immediately enchanted by it. The hard, bouncy beats, uplifting lyrics, and the almost child-like joy certain songs can evoke greatly appealed to me. Through the years I thought I'd heard it all: Hullabaloo, seeing Anabolic Frolic, Brisk, Paulina Taylor, Twinkleboi and various other happycore DJs live, compiling an impressive collection of CDs (both general release and specialty mixes from dear friends of mine)... but I've never in all these years heard ANYTHING like this! I was absolutely astounded by the fact that this was create in '97!! The feel of the music is so timeless... it's light years ahead of anything I've heard here in the States. It's such a shame I discovered Blümchen so late in the game (so to speak) and that she's since stopped making such wonderful music. Within the first 30 seconds of popping in this CD, I had the biggest grin I've worn in a LONG time.
As is, I'm still blown away by it... and I'll most definitely be recommending it to a couple happycore DJ friends of mine (I'm surprised they haven't heard of her yet!), and I can guarantee I'll know all the lyrics within a few weeks, nevermind the fact I don't speak a lick of German!
Awesome CD with great bouncy songs, lyrics that make you feel giddy-happy even though you can't understand them, and an unbelievable energy. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves Happy Hardcore!

Healthy Dose of Bluemchen, April 19, 2000
This music is incredible. If you're looking for an alternative to caffine to get you up and going in the morning, Bluemchen is your answer. Jasmin's voice is uplifting, energetic, and better than downing RedBull. Amazing. I eventually bought all of Bluemchen's 3 album's for the ridiculously high price of $30 each, but ohh was it ever worth it. As a matter of fact, I'm listening to Verleibt's Eisblumen as I type. Rarely do I ever find a CD in which I like every song, but Bluemchen is the first where I have loved every song on every album! Very addicting music!
