I discourage anyone from going this route for printing checks. You may think it is cheaper than bank checks but it is not. I have had many Versaink Cartridges with problems being recognized in HP and VersaJette printers. By the time you are finished buying checks and dealing with faulty cartidges you may just as well use a form filler software to just type in what you need on a bank check. If the VersaInk cartridge fails before the ink is empty they, g7ps, will not give you a refund. g7ps customer service is awful.

I have bought this ink from the manufacturer on several occasions as I have had this printer for over three years. Never a problem. I have a feeling the carriage you sent me has been in your warehouse a long time there at Amazon. It prints sporadically and I simply cannot count on it to work when I need it. Only the black ink is doing this. And of course that is the metallic ink that allows me to print out my business checks. I am wasting checks with a dim or absent print in parts of the check paper. Expensive check paper. I am having to print 5 checks to get one good one. It is terrible. I have run every program fix that my system offers and to no avail. CAn you replace this black ink cartridge?

The amount of black ink is a joke for the price. My past cartridges have lasted for several hundred checks and this one is almost empty after 80 checks. Also, if this is magnetic ink, why do most store registers fail to read the check? We have several stores around us that will not accept the check unless their register can read it. You better have a credit card handy if you really need what you're buying.

Product is great as it is bank approved for creating your own checks. Fast delivery. Definately will keep using this product.
