The VersaJette M300.v8 Color Inkjet Printer is the only inkjet printer designed to print 100-percent bank-compliant checks. The M300.v8 features advanced bank-compliant magnetic ink (MICR). This printer generates guaranteed bank-compliant checks for Magnetic Ink Character Recognition devices used at retail and financial outlets everywhere. VersaJette is also ideal for printing documents, photos, and more.

This starter kit includes a VersaCheck Starter Paper Pack and VersaCheck Presto check creation software. It allows you to create and print complete checks from scratch and directly from QuickBooks, Quicken, or MS Money. Moreover, you can print from multiple checking accounts using the same blank check paper. And the blank check stock contains no banking information until printed, so your account numbers will remain secure. The VersaJette inkjet family is equipped with revolutionary ink saving software to control the amount of ink used to print documents and photos, even custom bank-compliant checks. You can control the level of ink for savings up to 75 percent for each print job. Printer drivers are included for MS Vista, Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP.

I own both the M300 and M400... they are crap... rebadged lexmark printers.
Customer support will not replace a defective cartridge.
BEWARE!!!
Ink not compliant with my bank. and wastes lots of blank check paper.
