I own both the M300 and M400... they are crap... rebadged lexmark printers.
Customer support will not replace a defective cartridge.
BEWARE!!!
Ink not compliant with my bank. and wastes lots of blank check paper.

Simple, quick and does the job! No one in our office has had a problem with it. We are very happy.

This printer was easy to setup and worked great out of the box! Love the detail in prints! I would highly recommend it.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. It was exactly what our office needed. Easy to install and gives us no problems when printing. Accessories, ink, paper, etc... are all very affordable.

I have owned one for several years. It have saved hundreds of dollars printing my own checks as I own several businesses and have 10 bank accounts. I have not had problems with any bank regarding compatibility of the magnetic ink. It is a good printer for the price.

I actually love my Versajette! I've owned it for two years, and use it everday with no problems. I did have trouble at first getting it to work with my computer but G7 sent me the patch I needed and it's been smooth sailing ever since. I can't speak to the check printing part of it because I don't use it to print checks. I only got it because it was free from Fry's after a $[...] but I have to say it's been the best printer I've ever had! The absolute best thing about it is the ink; it takes FOREVER to run out. I only have to buy new cartridges 2 times a year and I print a LOT of documents, pictures, etc. I think it's a great basic everyday printer!

Its not a miracle printer- it clogs quite easily, and there isn't mac software for it, but I run the software on my mac under "parallels" and it works fine. its your typical cheapo ink jet, but it does save me money on checks.

While this printer will do what any inkjet printer will do, it will not print checks from Quickbooks!!!!

Beware!! This software is intentionally misrepresented. It does not work as advertised.

I'm sorry to say that I couldn't get this printer to cooperate with my computer. I spent most of a day to get the software to install and for me to be able to use it. I am not a computer expert but I've never had such problems before. I never did get it to work. I'm willing to say that it was my fault totally. I returned it and must say, I was very happy with the return policy of J & R. They took it back and refunded me everything - including the initial postage. Way cool! I'd order from them again - just not this printer.

I don't know why this printer got so many bad reviews. It's been one of the best printers I've ever owned. Maybe it's the owners that are the problem??? I'm a fan of it any way.
