This sharpener is great with any kind of pencil because it has a cone-shaped insert, which allows it to sharpen a no. 2 pencil or a carpenters pencil. This sharpener leaves a solid sharp tip on any writing instrument that can be sharpened. It's easy to use and it's about two inches long,1 inch wide and half inch thick. Very lightweight and easy to grip. What I like most is that any size pencil fits. Worth purchasing.
