This book is a must have for any tyer! Novice to expert, this is the reference to have. It starts by going into great detail of what to look for in regards to quality of hooks, feathers, thread, fur, etc. It gives insight into the "gadgets", tools, and stuff needed to tye flies. It has detailed photos of step-by-step fly-tying. It covers dries, nymphs, spun hair bodies, salmon flies, Alaskan flies, hair-wings, soft hackle flies, and more. This is a great gift for any tyer. I highly recommend it!
