To teach your child some great Bible verses. As a cradle-Catholic who attended Catholic school for twelve years, I felt embarrassed that I could not quote Bible verses. I've learned so much from this myself, and am amazed on a daily basis what my children internalize from these catchy songs. When my 4-1/2 year old is tempted to do something bad, I remind her of Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." When she disobeys or even hesitates to obey I ask her, "What is Exodus 20:12?" She quickly replies, "Honor your father and mother." The songs are cute, the stories are great, and there are even activities help reinforce the concepts. If you want your child to learn the bible, then get this book - you won't be sorry. I'm ordering 10 copies for all of our cousins and playgroup friends for Christmas 2004!

I bought this to teach my kids Bible verses. We love music and I always learn better through a song than just straight memorizing, so I thought this would be perfect. I was so excited to get it in the mail. I popped the CD in right away so we could start learning the verses. The songs were horrible. The words were fine, but the tune and the singers were awful. I couldn't stand to listen to it, and we enjoy many kinds of music, so that made it especially bad. I would have sent it back, but the the shipping was going to cost me more than the book itself. I can't tell you how disappointed I was. It really seemed like just exactly what I was looking for. Don't buy it. You'll regret it!

This book and CD are absolutely the best I have seen ever. Not only is the book wonderful for children but parents can also learn from it as well.

I recommend all Christian parents get this book and Cd for their children.

I received the book but there was supposed to be a CD with the book and it did not come with this book. I was bummed!!

Every Christian parent and grandparent has hopes of passing on scripture verses to their progeny. I just thought that the pictures did not match the gravity of the bible verses. I returned the book and so do not know if the cd offers more help in remembering the material. Don't give up on this needful activity.
