Decent but needs help,

This book is ok for what it is meant to be... a general look at CVS. What it lacks is an easy way to get into this book. The index did not seem to have any of the items that I was looking for nor did the table of contents. Reading the book, however, everything seems to be in there, just not where you expect it.Overall, good book but needs a good editor and better organization. This book is definately not for someone that just wants to find what they are looking for fast and move on.

CVS is a pretty simple and good enough version control system compared to the likes of ClearCase etc. The book is fairly complete. Wish it dealt a bit more with security of repository.
