Book Description

October 19, 2009
First President of the Philippines Emilio Aguinaldo's personal account of the Philippine-American War.This series puts hard-to-find, often long out-of-print books at reasonable prices into the hands of educators, researchers, and all those who enjoy reading about the Philippine's past. The readers should keep in mind that these are all contemporary books and reflect the values and attitudes - good and bad - of those authors of a century ago. Therefore, they will present information on how people thought at the time. The series will eventually cover books of all periods of Philippine history and various aspects of Philippine culture and society. The list on the following page is only the beginning as there will be new volumes released regularly. Books of this series have been reset with modern, more readable type but otherwise it is a faithful reproduction of the original.

5.0 out of 5 stars True Version of the Philippine Revolution, December 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a fantastic book to read. All the making for a great movie. My wife is a great-grandauther of the first president of the Philippines (from 1899 to 1901). His name was Emilio Aguinaldo. The United States took control of the Philippines in 1901 under great protest. At least they got the rule under Spain out after 310 years.
