I chose this light because I liked the sleek design and the flexible neck. I especially like the fact that it recharges! Most lights have a battery life of a few hours, this light goes easily for 15 hours, and recharges quickly. I usually use it for an hour or so a day and only have to recharge it about every two weeks. The flexible light is easy to direct and use; and the light wraps back around the base of the light for easy storage. It fits very well on the Kindle and hasn't slipped off the device once. I know it is a little higher priced that the other reading lights, but it is very worth the price.

It's a very good reading light. The only problemi have is with the flexible part of the light. I can only have the light extending out to the side instead of having the light directly above my kindle. If I try to have it above the kindle it falls down. I wish it was more sturdy so you could extend the light in any position.

The item description indicates 15 hours of battery life in each charge. I followed the instructions and fully charged the product before first use and after about 45 minutes the light dimmed to an unusable level. I charged the item multiple times and each time, without fail, the light would dim after 45 minutes.

I can't say if I happened to receive a defective product or if this is indicative of other's experiences. I was going to request a replacement because I did like how light the product was (added no noticeable weight when attached to the Kindle) and the light was perfect during that 45 minute window before it dimmed to unusable levels, but now the product is listed as shipping within 1-2 months for the graphite version. Needless to say, I have returned the item and purchased a different product that will hopefully give me a similar feel but better reliability -- Solis e-Reader Light for Kindle (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle)

This is an awkward light. With a Kindle cover, it clips on the reader only at the top, and the flex gooseneck comes out of the mount parallel to the Kindle, and requires twisting and rotating unnaturally to direct the light properly (Compare to a "Mighty Brite", which comes off its mount perpendicular to the reader). Most annoying the need to twist the flex neck to make the light shine on the reader. The neck resists, making a comfortable position difficult to set (and keep). When through with the light, the gooseneck wraps nicely around the mount, and snaps into position, and you're all set for another five minutes of uncoiling and twisting to get a semi-comfortable read.

It's rechargeable, but the other lamps hold rechargeable batteries, so that's not impressive. And the $39.95 price tag is absurd - the quality of this light is no better than, and perhaps inferior to, the standard reading lights that are some 60% less in price.

The light provides plenty of light, but it does tend to flicker if you move the gooseneck. Overall it has met my expectations. One design issue has popped up. The ON/OFF button is on the front of the main unit and can easily be depressed accidentally. I recently took my Kindle and light to Vegas and the light battery was completely drained when I arrived. The light had been on inside my luggage for the entire trip. I thought the price tag was a little high, but I paid it to get away from throw-away batteries and cheap flimsy reading lights.

Purchased the light because I don't like to have to replace batteries and I have another rechargeable light for my books that I love. This light is not even remotely comparable in value. It will not fully charge no matter how many hours I have it plugged in and I literally use it for a couple of hours and go to use it the next day and it no longer works. I feel completely ripped off.

It doesn't work. It appears to be faulty out of the box. The light will turn on if it is actually plugged in (charging) but as soon as I unplug the cord it turns off. It has been charging for more than a week so I know it isn't low on power. It's damaged my opinion of Amazon products and I will be telling others who recieved Kindles for christmas to just get a reading lamp.

Purchased the Verso Rechargeable Wrap Light and was pleased with the item. The on/off switch was a tiny plastic button that fell off within three days. I found that I could still operate it by pressing the spot. However, it seemed to take a large time to recharge and even that seemed to be a small price to pay for the excellent quality of the light on my Kindel. Well, yesterday, on full charge, the light refused to turn on. Since it is rechargeable, I don't imagine the battery needs to be replaced. I now have a non-operating light and guess I must order another expensive light in order to enjoy my Kindel at night!

This light has been charging for more than 48 hours. It will not turn on unless plugged into a USB port. The "charging" red light is still on. I wrote to the manufacturer but they never responded. VERY FRUSTRATING!Verso Rechargeable Wrap Light for Kindle (Graphite)

I posted the review below a few weeks ago. Miraculously, the morning after I posted it, Lightwedge customer service returned my call...! They offered to exchange the light. So, I sent in my crappy one and, in a couple weeks, got a new one. The new one charged in 6 hours (I timed it) out of the box and ran for maybe 12-15 hours (somewhat timed) before clearly needing a recharge. I haven't been using it with my Kindle yet but expect to soon. I wouldn't know if there are any other lemon lights out there like mine, but it is a nifty little unit. Just don't put up with one with any questionable charge time or other behavior - have it replaced. Then enjoy your read!

I bought this light to use with my Kindle while traveling. It fits the Kindle well, the light tucks in nicely, I like being able to adjust the light angle, and it seems bright enough. I don't like having to carry both the clip backs; they make things more bulky and less sleek. However, I cannot say enough about how BAD the battery is. It takes more than overnight to fully charge the battery; I'd say more like 24 hours. Ridiculous. And then it seems that the battery runs out pretty quickly - within a few hours of use. I would have returned it but was out of the country well past Amazon's return date. I don't know if I got a bum battery or if they are all like that, but I would definitely NOT buy this product again in the future. I tried to contact Lightwedge, who makes this Verso light, but they did not return my call. They claim a 1 year warranty, but not for products sold through retailers like Amazon. Don't buy this product!
