I bought a number of these journals as gifts last Christmas. They were a hit!

This is a lovely, lovely journal. Be aware that is not actually silk-wrapped, but the printing surprised me with how much is resembles actual silk in texture and sheen. Not readily apparent from the photo are the "leather" (probably not real leather, but a reasonable facsimile) hinges around the spine that add to the charm of this book.

Pages are thicker than that of another journal I bought by Peter Pauper Press; I much prefer this one. It is a fairly small book, and with the magnetic flap, perfect for travel. It's memento pocket is a nice addition, and of course there's a ribbon marker.

I also highly recommend the seller, Jenni Bick. The only thing not to love about this purchase (and something I wish Amazon would include in their product information) is that the book was, like so many things these days, made in China.

I was so pleased when this journal arrived...it's GORGEOUS and a beautiful green (dark and lush)...the pages splay out well too...VERY happy customer!
