I just started taking pole dancing classes back in November. After a month of so, only learning a new move once a week wasn't enough for me. So I decided to pick up this DVD to pick up the concepts of getting into other poses on the pole. This is a great DVD! She provides warm ups and conditioning exercises to help improve your form and she also has step-by-step instructions on how to do each move. This is great if you want to learn on your own.

This video is very professionally done and the pole techniques are explained clearly. After owning it for a months and a half I mastered all moves on it but one (straight edge and straight edge into straddle or Aysha, which I mastered few months later, with little advice from Jamilla Deville vol. 3-5). It icludes interesting variations such as a spinning superman. All moves on this video are inverted, and KT Coates is a accreditated Coach in the UK who traines pole dancing instructors to Advance level (Register of EXercise professionals and American Council of Exercise approved courses). It offers different dismounts from basic spin, and variations of ALL inverted moves. It also offers a list of suggested advanced combinations and a Superadvanced Knee Hold. However, this one is only for fit enthusiastic amateurs who want to go advanced or even professional, so if u do not do your weights and not very strong, i have to admit this video is demanding and requires dedication, but it gets you results. Hope this helps. Each move also has written tips to assist you in mastering it and there is a warm up and splits techniques as well.
