I highly recommend it, but it COULD stand some improvements:- Better grip material - softer click pressure - position of thumb buttons All of these are based on my personal experience - AS I WAS SUFFERING CT. I bought this mouse because I was in pain. SO given that fact, the grip and click pressure made using the mouse - initially - uncomfortable. After a week or two, it was less of an issue. I added some 3M micro-foam tape to the mouse for better grip and it helped. That said, it is a GREAT mouse. Much of my "complaints" are subjective and your mileage may vary. I am recovering from carpal tunnel and this mouse HAS HELPED. It will take a week or two to get used to and to stop knocking it off the table :-) but if you are dealing with CT this mouse CAN HELP. Well worth the price and it feels natural in the hand.

After having developed a serious case of 'mouse elbow', I wanted a mouse to limit pronation. Most are 'way overpriced, and I didn't need a wireless one. This seemed a good one with which to experiment (since you never know how well they'll help you 'til you try 'em). I sure didn't want to dump $60 only to find it didn't help. Lo and behold, while not a 100% solution, the 'mouse elbow' became markedly less severe with using this device. Mind you, I use it mostly for work, some simple gaming, and I don't depend on programmable buttons. The fact that it's got a high profile means that you may knock it off the mousepad a few times before getting fully used to its presence. Overall, well worth the price if you want to try the relm of ergonomic mice at a reasonable price. Darn it, though, it broke down just past the warranty period. It seems the left click on the mouse isn't meant for heavy (e.g. gaming) use. So it you're not a heavy mouse user, this will be fine. Just don't expect the same quality as Logitech or Microsoft.

The Joy Ergonomic Mouse is comfortable to use and has made lengthy computer sessions much less fatiguing to my hand and wrist. This fact and a reasonable price make the Joy a winning product.
