Buy yours now from an amazon used seller before it's too late. This is one of the most underrated of the famed Inner City books on Jungian analysis. In it, Carotenuto explores the personal meltdown of an artist who just went NUTS, facing a divorce and an existential crisis. A fascinating window into a soul in torment. This is essential reading for anyone who threw himself into the pursuit of an artistic passion, and then hit the wall with depression and the desperate search for meaning. So moving, Carotenuto demonstrates the pinnacle of human compassion in dealing with a tortured mind. 5+++++ stars. Brilliant in dealing with ideas such as the uroboros, Theseus vs. the minotaur, and Ariadne's thread. You will not be able to put this book down as you join a struggling artist on a journey through heaven and hell. See also Eros and Pathos by Aldo Carotenuto.
