Coolest sounds in this summer from Stockholm and Tokyo. If you love music like Kahimi Kalie, you should check it now.

Not One Weak Track,
By A Customer
This review is from: Vertigo (Audio CD)
I played this CD once at work and thought it was OK. Second time found it catchy. Third time was the charm! Catchy, hook-filled music with smart lyrics. Moody, retro-sounding pop with excellent horn and string arrangements that re-call the late 1960's/early 1970's. I found myself going back to it over and over...you won't be sorry with this one. Just give it a little time to grow on you.

Vertigo gets me dizzy,

An amazing collection of songs from a Swedish band I only dreamt about. Everyone says the Cardigans, but Cinnamon are even better, deeper lyrically, moodier, and fun to listen to. I would recommend this to anyone out there looking for something new & different.

i am recently involved with cinnamon; being as a good fan of cocteau twins and swing out sister but this band takes you to higher levels
courier and vertigo are great works I do not have a special preference i recommend both works, finally agree with sb who wrote that the more you listen at the better tastes. as a good and expensive bottle of wine

Maybe should be 4.5 stars, since it's not quite as good as their previous album, The Courier, but excellent nontheless. Full of great rhythms and pop melodies that are the antithesis of the Blues. This music makes u feel happy. Frida's tiny-girl voice is wonderfully sweet, but may be too much so for some. Yes, early Cardigans is a fair comparison, and I love it.
I don't usually spend big bucks for imports, but in this case i had to have it. It was the only way to double the Cinnamon in my life. Too bad the band is broken up now... so buy a copy while you still can!

Take Your Time, please,

More St Etienne with some Cardigans tossed in for good measure.
Less acoustic than "The Courier", filled with good stuff. The highlight has to be "Take Your Time" with its catchy beat and swirling organ. "I Used to be Your Lonliness" and the simplistic "More Than You Bargained For" are terrific. Nothing weak here, just a collection of cool tunes. Frida has since moved on to a solo work.

"Maybe in the Next Life" is one of the coolest songs I have ever heard; just hauntingly beautiful, truthful, and sad. The rest of the album is just as good. If they are reading this, I hope they will make a new record.

This album is gorgeous and deliciously melancholy. I hope that this wonderful band is still around.
