Very helpful book,

This review is from: Vertigo and Dizziness (The Experience of Illness) (Paperback)
This book is a helpful reference book concerning dizziness. I have Meniere's Disease, of which dizziness is one symptom, and the book was very helpful as I tried to understand what my doctors were doing, and why. It thoroughly explains the ramifications of every medical procedure and explains well the difficulties faced in treating dizziness

As a sufferer of dizziness I found this book extremely useful, interesting and encouraging. Dizziness is something that the general population is generally ignorant about but this books helps to give us sufferers recognition and provides practical guidelines for coping with it

This review is from: Vertigo and Dizziness (The Experience of Illness) (Paperback)
This is an older book on vertigo, published in 1994. It's written in a sober, pedestrian manner, but avoids pontificating, and includes some reflections on the emotional burden of those who suffer from vertigo. It covers the basic understanding of the causes of vertigo, not much different than you would find in more recent works, but not much about therapy or research. I preferred it to any other book I had read on vertigo, and I have read about four.
