A great place to start,

"Verve Jazz Masters 1" is, obviously, the first in what is an incredible series released by this wonderful haven for Jazz geniuses. The only place one could start with a series like this is with the truly incomparable Louis Armstrong. Pops is his usual perfection on this disc. To my mind, this CD would be worth the price of itself simply for the opening track, "Just One of Those Things." Enjoy!

This is another excellent quality sounding CD from Verve, and appropriately for Louis Armstrong, he is #1 in the Verve Jazz Masters series! This CD is highly recommended for purchase by anyone who loves Satchmo's playing and unique singing style.
