5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful selection of great tunes, February 15, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Verve's Grammy Winners (Audio CD)
This album is really great. It has a good mix of fast and slow tunes,as well as vocal and instumental numbers. When I first bought this album, I didn't know very much about individual jazz singers, so this was a great album to get because it offers a good variety of music and vocalists. Now, I can even identify individual jazz volcalists on the radio because I've listened to this album so much. The album is also a great "background" album if you're having friends over and you want some good music playing in the background, or if you like to have music playing in the car on long road trips. I like the album so much, I've gone out a bought a second copy. Hope you enjoy it too!
