Editorial Reviews

Not the Cleveland pop group, but the Dutch band who was probably the best '60s rock group from a non-English-speaking country! This CD collects their best singles plus key cuts from their 1967 self-titled LP: Bird in a Cage; Summer Is Here; You Mistreat Me; Cup of Hot Coffee; Keep On Trying; Touch; Ballad of John B.; Monkey on Your Back , and 10 more!

Most Helpful Customer Reviews

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Mike Reed VINE VOICE on September 20, 2009
Eighteen track compilation of this out-standing Dutch psychedelic / garage band's work. If you have any or each of their other CD releases - like 'The Outsiders', 'Singles A's & B's' 2-CD or 'Strange Things Are Happening', you likely already have every one of these tunes. Great hearing once again - the all too familiar "Touch", "Story 16", "Bird in A Cage", "A Cup Of Hot Coffee", "Ballad Of John B", the upbeat "I'm Trying To Prove Myself" and "Don't Worry About Me". If you look around enough, you should be able to find this disc at a good price. Is it just me or does this CD's cover remind you of something you might find at your local Kmart?
