Good songs, poor arrangement,

A fan of Avalon's contemporary Christian music, I picked this book up, hoping to add some of their songs to my Sunday morning repertoire. This book will function as an adequate lead sheet for a guitarist looking for chords, but is not worth the money if you're hoping to use the piano accompaniments. In every song, the piano part is virtually identical (note-for-note) to the vocal part, with the left hand providing a few chord tones. This results in a pretty boring performance (and lots of rehearsal stress if the singer and pianist are separate people). I wouldn't bother with this one.
