I grew up listening to these songs of Beny More. He has a unique voice and sings with feeling about lost loves, repentance, happiness, loneliness and pride; you can feel the pain, the sorrow or the joy of the story he tells. The re mastering of these beautiful songs is superb and I have enjoyed listening to them again and remembering some I had forgotten. If you like Cuban music from the late 50's you will enjoy this CD set (there are two CD's). The boleros are very romantic and danceable to enjoy with your partner after a special dinner for two....

Beny More represents the pinnacle of Cuban music. A man who could not read music wrote some of the music we hear on this album with the help of some of the musicians with him in his orchestra. He was the living expression of Cuba for years. This album collects some of that spirit. A must have.
