I purchased this CD to replace another I bought that had a short recording of Time is Tight which took alot away from the song. Its the one to buy.

Ok, first of all Booker T and the MGs is a really great instrumental group that has been around awhile. Their music is absolutely great, and if your old enough, you can remember the original songs in their entire length, noting, what you hear is what you get use to. Therefore, when a song is altered, cut, or just modified, you don't like it, SO, Original songs remastered, such as on this album, is the BEST. If your from the old west....

I'm not a music guru, I just know what I like, and I like this. To me it sounds kinda funky and laid back. Cool music to listen to anytime.

Booker T and the MG's is so much more than their most popular song, Green Onions. But it was that song which first turned me on to the group. This "best of" compilation has an excellent collection of song which demonstrate the band's range of jazzy, groovy sound, perfect for times you just want to groove or kick back and relax. Consider Green Onions just a primer to depth of the band's musical sound. Time is Tight and Hang'em High are two of my favorites on here.

This is absolutely the best CD. I grew up in the 60's and I remember my father playing this album alot. Now that he's passed, it really brings back good memories. Booker T got down!:)

I loved Green Onions the first time I heard it and when I heard it on a TV commercial recently I realized I didn't have it. I do now. The CD also includes Time Is Tight, which was written by members of the group.

I highly recommend this CD to anyone over 50 out there and anyone else for that matter! Until recently I had forgotten about Booker T, until I recently heard "Time is Tight" on the radio, which inspired me to purchse this CD and I was NOT disappointed!!

This CD is a compilation of reworked tunes that hit the big time.

One of the BEST compilations of Jazz ever. I play this constantly and will probably have to replace it.
Everyone of all ages either recognizes the 'music or ask where can they get it?' This quartet kicked it
to the moon. What a tight harmonious group that I seldom ever hear......honest!
A great Gift Item especially for a Jazz Lover.

It seemed to take a while o get to my LA residence but it is a great cd !
