If you've been living under a rock and have never heard of Das EFX, please oh PLEASE don't use How We Do as an accurate representation of their work. Instead refer to this BEST OF collection.

For fans, there are a lot of songs on here that you should remember, like "Freakit", "Microphone Master" and "Baknaffek" (back in effect). The album is also rewarding in that it contains remixes of songs that are very hard to find anywhere, like the "Mic Checka" remix and the Pete Rock remix of "Real Hip Hop".

If you read my review title, you'll notice it ended with a "but". That's because I have one concern with this compilation. That is, if you already own Das EFX's first album, Dead Serious, then you really don't need to pick up this album. This is because most of the songs on here are from that album ("Mic Checka", "Jussumen", "They Want EFX", "East Coast", "If Only", "Looseys", etc.). Most of those songs weren't even released. Why didn't they include "Straight From Da Sewer"?

I was also disappointed to not find the "They Want EFX" remix on here. Instead, there's the original version (which IS still great, but I just like the remix better). Oh well, this is still a good collection. And while there's one song on here that I could do without ("Shine"), that doesn't stop The Very Best of Das EFX from being diggedy-dope.
