This two-disc set has some excellent stuff on it, including most of David Essex's big British hits. But there's plenty of filler, including some recent recordings that are simply terrible. And why use new recordings of such Essex hits as "Silver Dream Machine" and "Oh What A Circus" when the originals are so much better? The choice of songs is sometimes puzzling.

Most of David's greatest hits are included here and it is great to hear them all together on a cd especially with the great variety from slow romantic songs to loud rock songs - all of which he does to perfection
