Great live-in-studio stuff --- plus a couple of vids --- and a couple of live cuts.
"Temptation" is tremendous.

(Anybody else's DVD have audio static in it during "Temptation"...?)

If you like good music, especially the classics, you will love this CD/DVD combo. Diana Krall has incorporated the best songs from her albums and added other songs that you will love. Along, on a separated dvd, is some of the most beautiful video put together to highlight her greatest hits. This is a must for all Diana Krall fans. It truly is wonderful.

This is jazz and Blues at it's best, Done by a young artist from Canada who will just make you stop and want more. In fact I am anxious to receive her newest CD due to be released any day.
If you love to her really great keyboards, Diana does have them for you, She is perfect once she touches those keys she makes them sound so smooth.
Then throw in her voice, She is primo.
I have every CD she has made and have not had a bad one yet.
Ironically she is married to Rocker Elvis Costello but he has had no effect on changing the incredible music she writes and produces in many cases, This music is Jazz and Blues and nothing else.
Buy her you won't regret it

The CD is a pretty good compliation of songs from Diana's albums but what got me to buy this was the DVD.

Unfortunately the DVD is not very good. The aspect ratio in the first video is out of whack. The studio in the house videos are pretty good and the one live concert video is okay but I really expected more. In all of the videos Diana seems incredibly self absorbed.

Given the price differential, if you need a "best of" CD you still are better off getting this edition with the DVD. Just don't expect too much.

Love the CD/DVD combo edition - "Look of Love" is the nicest version I have heard of that song. Very tasteful arrangements and her solo piano work is never over done.
Reminds me of a great local artist in the LA area, Kate Reid (vocal and piano) that we enjoy live.

This pleasant set features 15 selections from Love Scenes, All For You, When I Look In Your Eyes, The Look Of Love, Live In Paris, The Girl In The Other Room, and From This Moment On.

Look out for three unreleased tracks. You Go To My Head and Only The Lonely taken from Look Of Love sessions. The third being The Heart Of Saturday Night from The Girl In The Other Room sessions.

If you are looking for a comprehensive DVD collection, this one will disappoint as only nine videos are included. But if you view it as an add-on to the CD then it's a bonus. Songs NOT on the CD are here on the DVD. Narrow Daylight, Temptation, Almost Blue, Abandoned Masquerade, The Girl In The Other Room and What Are You Doing New Year's Eve. The DVD is a balanced mix of music videos, studio and live performances.

This compilation really picked the best cuts from Diana Krall's catalogue, creating that surreal, gentle Bossa Nova swing, making this a great buy.

If you are a Diana Krall fan or just like vocals of the Great American Song Book, you will thorougly enjoy this CD. This is truly her Very Best.

This Cd is a very nice collectors item for Diana Krall fans. Some unexpected clips on the DVD and a decent 'best off' series of songs on the CD.

Once again Diana Krall has put out a great CD. I know its just a greatest hits CD but its nice to have all her best songs on one CD. Stop waisting your time reading my stupid review and buy the CD. You will be glad you did.
