Eurovision.....a venture that began in 1955 and first aired in 1956 to, essentially, promote television throughout Europe. Some of these songs are classics, some should have been. Some of the artists became well known, others never made it. Whether you speak the language the artist sings in or not, you will find music and presentations quite enjoyable. PS: If you are a real music lover look up the bio's on Eurovision, the performing artists,and even the songwriters in order to fully appreciate the theme of the Eurovision program.

This was a real treat for me because I had missed so many contests when I left Europe back in the 80's. The picture quality is good and I think they chose some great songs and performances. I wish the DVD has some special features and they do chop off each song a little abruptly , but for the most part I really love the DVD.
This is great value for the money, especially if you like catchy ,fun music. I am very happy. |
