Gospel Perfection! Poor liner notes, June 8, 2003

If you want a great place to start with in the Five Blind Boys of Alabama, it's hard to beat this set from originals Clarence Fountain, Johnny Fields, Jimmy Carter, and George Scott. These recordings precede the Oh, Brother! soundtrack popularity. The music is as heartfelt as anything you've ever heard. The problem is the liner notes don't give enough information about the recordings. But definitely worth the price.
