Brilliant 80s R&B/Pop from Britain. This collection has all their hits and then some.

Standouts; Just an illusion, Body Talk, Flashback, Changes, Music and lights, so good so right.

Highly reccommended!

Imagination are the colorful, flamboyant trio of Leee John (falsetto), Ashley Ingram (Tenor), and Errol Kennedy (Drums), a dance/r&b trio from the UK who reigned in the UK charts in the 80s.

Their music was characterized by driving beats, deep and cutting synthesizers, lush sweeping piano, and Lee's angelic vocals backed by Ashley's, to give uptempo, fun dance music.

This compilation contains their biggest and best hits; the outstanding `Just an illusion' (with it's driving beat and razor sharp synths, sampled by Destiny's Child and more recently, Mariah Carey), `Flashback', `So good, so right' (in it's entirety, including the magnificent jazzy piano breaks), `Music and lights', `Changes', the sultry, slowed down `In the heat of the night', `In and out of love', and `Body talk', as well as the snappy, upbeat, Motown-ish `Thank you my love'.

A magical journey into music from a band who more than lived up to their name.

After 25 years or so back in my teenage days, i thought that i would never be able to listen to these guys again but, thanks so much to amazon.com, it gave me goose bumps just to listen to my favorite group again. JUST AWESOME is all i can say.
