They were a band I had to see live and in the mid '80's, I got to see them in a concert setting, when they were at their peak. It was the first time, I had felt the power of the bass guitar and synthesizer..... I looked down at my chest and could actually see my heart reacting to the pulse of the rhythm. Scary but true. They were phenomenal. There are a few truly great tracks on here, but there are more missing. It is not their "Very best". I would tell you to buy it, as it is worth it just for the few tracks, but once you do, you will search out the others. If you are into disco from back then, well more groove dancing stuff really, then they are for you. It is great aerobic stuff too, if you want to shed some pounds. The "Nightdubbing" cd, remixed by the studio team to have on your side back then were Swain and Jolley and their influence is all over this.That's the one to find after this and the regular releases. I still love 'em after all these years.

My wife wanted a copy of their greatest hits because of one song (Illusion?). But every other copy on Amazon had them wearing some freaky outfit, That may be their thing - I don't know...but it was nice to see them in normal clothes. As far as the music goes, my wife loves it...I'm just not into their kind of music.
