I love these guys :-O,

This review is from: The Very Best of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince (Audio CD)
Ever since Parent's Just Don't Understand and Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble, I've listened to them and love them even still. This cd pretty much covers all their best material (although I feel that they left out a really cool song called You Saw My Blinker B*tch). It's full of fun old school style rap with fantastic lyrics. My absolute two favourite songs on here are Boom! Shake The Room and my number one favourite Summertime. I could hear that over and over again for hours.
These guys are terrific and made some excellent music. I love listening to it all even though it's a little dated now, but it's fantastic and I highly recommend this to fans of rap, hip hop, R&B. While some songs are pure fluff, it makes this a fun and enjoyable cd to listen to.

Good, but could use a few more songs from "He's the DJ, I'm the rapper.",

This review is from: The Very Best Of D.J. Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince (MP3 Download)
Let's be honest, if you're looking at this product, you're already bought in.I thought I'd buy this as I really don't care for any side B material from "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper" but wanted some highlights from that and the other songs seemed ok too. I guess my recommendation would be to pick these songs out one by one. If you don't know the song, it's probably one of the iffy ones. Amazon has done a great job of having all their songs available, so just dump the extra couple bucks to buy a truly "Greatest Hits" of your own. I'd also highly recommend getting the "full" version of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire." If you haven't heard it, it will blow your mind. How I went ~ 15 years without knowing there were extra verses is beyond me.
