Jump5, the now Christian centered pop quartet (Libby disbanded to persue a higher education) debuted at a time when the A-Teens and S Clubs alike were trying to make a splash into the pop scene. Rather than just focusing all their songs on crushes on boys or getting down at the nearest club, Jump5 had meaning to their music, which makes them one step above the rest. Hidden under the pop beats, smooth lyrics, and overall freshness is the message of God and the love he has for his children.
Though they never had a huge hit like S Club 7 ("Never Had A Dream Come True,") they still had what were considred hits, even if it wasn't the Billboard 100. The overly sweet "Spinning Around" and "Throw Your Hands Up" start off the album nicely along side one of their arguably best tracks and remakes, "Beauty and the Beast."
As for the new songs, "Friends" is the highlight of the three, with a more mature sound and stunning vocals from Brittany, Leslie, Brandon, and Chris. The four sound better than ever, including their first singles without Libby, "Dance With Me," and the more laid back, "It's A Beautiful World."
If there is one downfall, it's that not all the albums are represented fairly. Their debut album fills up most of the album, as "All The Time In The World" is represented by one of Jump5's best songs, "All I Can Do," while Accelerate is represented by "Do Ya" and "We Are Family." It would have been nice to see "Summertime Song" or "Walking On Sunshine" on here as well.
Even though most will consider this cliche since S Club and A-Teens released their greatest hits albums, Jump5 isn't trying to use it to bring up record sales with rumors of a departure. Instead, Jump5 insists of letting the music play and having fun and with this album they ultimately deserve to do so. Keep rocking, Jump5!

This cd has all of jump5's best hits on it. I own all of their other cd's (including their christmas one and their remix cd). Although it may seem like a waste of money that I bought this, even though I already knew most of the songs, it had 3 new songs on it and a song I didn't even know before! I'm really glad I bought it! To me, this cd was NOT a waste of money. The new songs were great! I thought long and hard about whether or not I should buy this, and decided it was worth it! Here's my rating for each song.

1. Spinnin' around - 10/10 Awesome song! This was the song that made them so popular! This song makes you want to dance, it's also the first jump5 song I ever heard!

2. Throw your hands up - 10/10 GREAT! This song also makes you want to dance. It has a fast beat!

3. Don't run away - 10/10 Wow, I love this one! It's one of their new songs, and it has a great tune and great lyrics!

4. Beauty and the beast - 10/10 Better than I expected! At first I thought this song would sound stupid because it's a remake of the fairy tale "beauty and the beast" but it's actually a good one! It's got a great beat, and Brittany and Libby sound great together!

5. Beautiful to me - 10/10 Another new song, and another great tune! Brittany is amazing in this, as well as Lesley. Not only does this song sound good, but it is very uplifting and encouraging. It's definitely worth a listen.

6. All I can do - 9/10 This is another one of their well-loved hits. It has a really good beat, and good vocals.

7. God bless the U.S.A. - 10/10 This one is a classic! I've never heard the original version of this, but I heard it's much worse than this one! It's a great song about our country!

8. Do ya - 6/10 Gosh, what have they done to this song? For some reason, they remade this song so that Brittany sang ALL of the lyrics, and it's not right!! on the album that this song originally came from, Libby and Lesley sang some of the parts, but they changed it! It ruins the song quite a bit, I do love this song, but on this cd it's different, so I'm giving it only 6 out of 10.

9. We are family - 9/10 Cool! This song has a nice, dancy beat!

10. Dance with me - 10/10 This song is AWESOME! It makes you want to just get up and dance! I'm not at all surprised that this is one of their greatest hits from their album, "Deaming in color."

11. It's a beautiful world - 10/10 Another goodie! When I first heard this song, it became my other one of my favorites on the dreaming in color cd right after i heard it. My other favorite is dance with me. I'm glad THIS song became a hit, too! And the music video is great!

12. Friends - 10/10 Beautiful! And this is another new song! It has a great message. I love it!

1.Spinnin Around(10/10)-Possibly the best song on this collection.It`s one of Jump5`s biggest hits ever!It`s a great opening song for this collection,and gives you a fresh taste of Pop music from Jump5!
2.Throw Your Hands Up(7/10)-Possibly the worst song on this CD.It`s a pretty big Jump5 hit,but i`ve never seemed to enjoy it.I just don`t think they sing THIS ONE too good.....
3.Don`t Run Away(10/10)-Did I mention this album has some brand new songs on it?Well,this is the first new one.I LOVE it!I`ve seen them perform this song live in concert,and man,did they do good choosing a song like this!
4.Beauty And The Beast(10/10)-This song is awesome!It`s a Pop version of Disney`s classic song,with a great Jump5 soundin twist!There`s a great music video of this song,too!
5.Beautiful To Me(10/10)-Another new song.This may be better than Don`t Run Away!It`s much softer than Don`t Run Away,but it`s still kinda rockish!
6.All I Can Do(10/10)-This song is from the same album as Throw Your Hands Up is originally from,and it is SOOOOOOO much better!Totally cool Pop,dancy,have-fun music!
7.God Bless The U.S.A.(9/10)-A real 9/11 heart healer.Jump5 does really good singing it!It`s beautiful!
8.Do Ya(10/10)-Go Jump5!This was originally sang by singer Michelle Tumes,but Jump5`s version is way better!
9.We Are Family(10/10)-I absolutly HATE the original version of this song by Sister Sledge,but Jump5 makes it so much more fun!Thumbs down for Sister Sledge,thumbs way up for Jump5!
10.Dance With Me(8/10)-Pretty good!I like this one! It`s originally from Jump5`s cd "Dreaming In Color".
11.It`s A Beautiful World(10/10)-They sound wonderful singing this one together! It`s also from "Dreaming In Color". They also have a music video for this song,and it rocks!
12.Friends(10/10)-The last but not least song.It`s also the last brand new song. I think this may be one of the best remakes Jump5 has ever done!This song deserves more credit than it has.

Jump5 has been coming along amazingly for the past 5 years. They have sold more than 1,000 products since their first CD!! They are awesome and I love them!! I love Jump5... but this is suppost to be a greatest hits CD, not just 2 randomly selected singles per album. Where is "Walking on Sunshine", "Start Jumpin'", "Freeze Frame", "Hawiaiian Rollercoaster Ride", etc. Those were bigger hits than "Dance With Me". "Walking on Sunshine" & "Start Jumpin" were two of their biggest hits (especially the former) here should have been the tracklisting:

Okay, if you haven't bought this cd yet, what are you waiting for?! it is truly an awesome albulm that includes many of Jump5's greatest hits, plus three new songs that rock! Jump5's music is positive and upbeat, and this Cd will definetly have you dancing when you listen to it- even if its your first time listening. The best songs are Spinnin' Around, Beauty and the Beast, Beautiful to Me, All I Can Do (THE ABSOLUTE BEST), It's a Beautiful World, and Friends. anyways... BUY THIS CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jump5 is the best group ever they're songs are awesome I have all thier albums they're the best!!!

Spinnin' Around 10/10 This song should keep everyone spinnin' around it's their first song ever also the music video's pretty cool too

Throw Your Hands Up 9/10 Pretty good, will keep you on you feet till dusk, has a great beat but can get a bit repitive after a bit

Don't Run Away 10/10 One of the new songs I think that this is real cool once it seeps in I've seen them preform this how do they move so fast!!!

Beauty and the BeastJump5's version of the classic Beauty and the Beast. This song was wayyy better then it's predessesor it probobly seems impossible to turn that into a hip hop dance song, but it works! Check out the music video on the Beauty and the Beast Special Edition DVD oh woohps the rating is 2000/10 it just is so awesome!

Beautiful To Me 10/10 Another new song this starts out slow but then it just makes ya wanna flip around and dance on the table!

All I Can Do 2000/10 This is Jump5's BEST SONG EVER!!! Okay, maybe not, but certainly the best one on this CD, Along with Beauty and the Beast they do an awesome video for this too

God Bless the U.S.A. 10/10 Ahhh, after a lot of high beat songs this is just a smooth relaxed cover of the classic song. Jump5 is simply beautiful in this. They did a non-dancing music video of this with clips of a small flower being given a person, and that person gives it to another, and finally it ends up with a firefighter and his daughter (I THINK it's his daughter)

Do Ya 10/10 This is an awesome take the only thing about this is that Lesley and Libby had a part in the original song on the CD "Accelerate" and now it had Brittany singing those parts! What happened!?? Oh well, it still is good and their music video for this is cool to

We Are Family 10/10 Way better than the original by Sister Sledge. I've also seen them preform this I still wonder how Jump5 retains the knowlege of all these moves!!

Dance With Me 8/10 A great song at first, but gets a bit annoying after a time, particularly with them doing the chorus three times at the end with the same music and stuff. Still, a great upbeat dance song. I've seen this one preformed too it's WOWWW!!!

It's A Beautiful World 10/10 At first I really didn't like this song and wondered why everyone loved it so much that it was on the best of CD but it's actually a great song! Pretty slow ecxept for the chorus, but that's okay. Check out the new music video yet to be released on www.jump5.com

Friends 10/10 I love this song this is the last new song I think that leaves off the CD in a very touching note.

Well, that's all for now. Some people don't like the fact that you own nearly all the songs on other CDs, but I still think it's worth buying!!!

I'm a huge fan of Jump5, but I think that they rushed the release of THE VERY BEST OF JUMP5. Most of these songs have been popular really recently, and throwing them all onto one CD with three new songs wasn't the best idea.

Highlights of THE VERY BEST OF JUMP5 are:
*Spinnin' Around - The first Jump5 song I ever heard, and it's still one of my favorites. It's a catchy, bubbly pop song that can put anybody in a good mood.
*Beauty and the Beast - From the original Disneymania CD. At first, I didn't like this song at all - how can you take a classic song like Beauty and the Beast and turn it into a funky, dance-pop song? After giving it another try, I realized that it's actually a pretty good cover. Sure, it's not like the original, but it's got a little "Jump5 spin" to it.
*Beautiful to Me - One of the new songs on the CD, Beautiful to Me is one of my favorites. It has the newer, more mature sounding Jump5 on it, and I love it.

THE VERY BEST OF JUMP5 is a good CD, but I feel like it would have been a lot more memorable if it was released in a few years. The three new tracks are all pretty good, except for the song "Friends," which is a disappointment and is definately the worst song on the CD.
Recommend to hardcore Jump5 fans, but that's about it.

A fantastic CD combining all Jump5's best songs. I love "It's a Beautiful World" - it's been ages since I last heard them. Both Brittany and Leslie sound so much more mature in this song. It's got a contagious, head-nodding CD but Brittany sounds like she's seriously busting her vocal chords in this one. It's ok Brit, you don't have to stretch your voice out that much. It's a great song, though.

I also love "God Bless the USA". After Nick Carter sang it, I thought I'd never want to hear it again, but then I heard the Jump 5 version as it was fantastic. Brittany sings well in this, but I'd really like to hear the guys sing more. This is one of the highest played songs on my iPod - there's just something about this song that makes me repeat it over and over again.

"Spinning Around" is good but I can't really hear Brandon sing. He kind of mixes his words together. But it's a really catchy tune, makes you want to dance :)

"Beauty and the Beast" is a great remake of the Disney classic. I saw the clip of this on Disney Radio and the dancing is really good! I'd love to be able to do gymnastics like that. Hehehe. Anyway, this has a great tune, it's a very dancey track.

The other songs are also really good too. Jump 5 is great at all their songs. Keep it up guys, can't wait to hear more!
