5.0 out of 5 stars the person who rated this before me......is a moron
these guys are great. between kajagoogoo, then kaja, they made some great stuff. It's bouncy, and fun, but with an air of strangeness that's just great to listen to. some songs by them like the lion's mouth, have become some of my favorite songs, better late than never for sure. lies and promises is great as well. If you like too shy, and are a REAL FAN OF 80s music, not...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good
Although i like the sound of the 80s this is no music to listen to...Only a few days ago i heard the neverending story song on the local network and rememberd my childhood days when i first saw the movie on one beautiful Christmas eve (i think 'twas 1988).The song always echoed in my head but i couldn't find out who sang it...until few days ago.The first thing i did was...

these guys are great. between kajagoogoo, then kaja, they made some great stuff. It's bouncy, and fun, but with an air of strangeness that's just great to listen to. some songs by them like the lion's mouth, have become some of my favorite songs, better late than never for sure. lies and promises is great as well. If you like too shy, and are a REAL FAN OF 80s music, not the silly-will who rated this before me, then you'd be better served to just dig right in. start with the album rivers, which is actually the album made after the lead singer lamahl left or was booted out or whatever. this album has the lion's mouth and is that song is killer 80s for your ass. beautiful post punk with an arrogant strut that just sends shivers down my spine. I would actually say most of that album is great, the 2nd half of the album you can decide on yourself. The first few songs out of the gate, the first four or so, are so cool that you can pick and choose the others. THEN get white feathers, which IS the kajagoogoo album, with too shy, and my jam lies and promises. that's a cool album, with a totally different sound, with lamahl singing (I prefer nick's voice). THEN you have the album crazy people's right to speak, which is the JAM JAM JAM. nick beggs is just an absolute musical genius, someone that you should hold up with green gartside, and any other 80s pop geniuses, the few that really did it right, such is his talent. so if you are a fan of scritti politti, japan, duran duran, missing persons, tears for fears, and other tuneful amazing 80s groups, then buy the 3 cds mentioned, though crazy people will have to be bought as an mp3 download, since the cd is so scarce and worth quite a penny.

And what does kajagoogoo mean anyway??Are those Limahl's first baby words???
