4.0 out of 5 stars I don't understand why they do that!
I don't believe they left Someone You Should Know out of this collection!! That would have made this CD really complete!! I don't know why music companies always leave some relevant tracks out. Probably they think people will buy both records, but I don't think that's the case. Anyhow, I think this is a good selection, but not all of her best songs are here.

5.0 out of 5 stars great best of..., March 21, 2006
This review is from: The Very Best of (Audio CD)
When I bought htis Cd, I was only familiar with Loeb's more popular hits like "Stay" and "I Do". However, I love the rest of the CD. I is very mellow, but Lisa's vocals provide a quiet power to her lyrics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, February 1, 2006

Yes, Lisa Loeb is quirky *and* hot! :) She is also incredibly talented, and her music is original and infectious. I've been a fan since "Stay," and it's nice to see a "best of" collection. Most of my favorite songs made it on this album -- it seems like a well-chosen collection. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has only heard "Stay," "Do You Sleep?" and "I Do" -- if you want to hear more of the same intelligent, catchy music, it's here in abundance! Also, check out Lisa's TV show on E! -- it's lots of fun!

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally rocks, January 27, 2006

I'm not usually into the "poppy" sounds, but Lisa Loeb has hit a homerun for young women everywhere. They can totally relate to her lyrics and moods, and for them she is kind of a hero. I admire her because she's honest with her lyrics and she is kinda kinky or hot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Lisa Loeb Compilation, November 11, 2011

I was only familiar with "I Do" and "Stay" when I bought this, but it introduced me to Lisa Loeb's other music, which I now love. It also caused me to check out her other albums. This is great for casual fans like me.

I bought this CD for my mom. I had a copy of the CD previously and like Lisa's music a lot. She also reminds me of Katrina Grenough and is a kind musician. This album is a compilation of Lisa's works from other projects and holds strong quality. My favourite songs on the album are 'Truthfully', 'How', and 'Sandalwood' due to their romantic resonance and pleasing sound. The music is partly acoustic, and is good for the soul. Be strong, prevail over mediocrity, and thrive.

Come on, folks. Lisa is an endearing, intimate artist with slice-of-life sensibilities and an knack for catchy pop melodies. The individuals who are slamming her seem to be expecting the cat to start barking. This CD is quintessentially Lisa and, if you let it, just might grow to be the best friend you always wanted--much like the artist herself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lisa Loeb- The Very Best of, February 3, 2006
This review is from: The Very Best of (Audio CD)
I should start out by saying I never really discovered Lisa Loeb until I heard "Cake and Pie" which, to me, was an okay cd. Then I left it. A few months ago I heard of "#1 Single" t.v. show and fell in love for some odd reason. So, I had to buy the very best of cd once I heard of its availablitly. Lisa Loeb has the most amazing talent to write music and lyrics. I love the feeling presented in "Furious Rose" it is so perfect. But I also enjoy the rest of the album. This is a highly great cd. I haven't stopped listening to it since it came out on January 24th! Lisa Loeb has captured me...she is a beautiful woman and musician. Here is a breakdown

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding, April 10, 2008
By
This review is from: The Very Best of (Audio CD)
This is a wonderful collection of Lisa's material over the years - the music is amazing and varied. Some songs (like Single Me Out and All Day) are really upbeat, and some (like How and Sandalwood) are more reflective. Plus, with 18 songs, it's great value for money. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially if you're a fan of folk music or (like me) you just enjoy listening to a really good singer/songwriter.

This was one of two purchases from Lisa Loeb and boy! I just can't get enough of it, I listen to it everywhere I go, from the office, in my car to my bedroom - and yes I do sing along like a crazy wannabe! I just can't help myself!
