Not a genujine Mantovani recording,

Since Mantovani never recorded anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber, this is obvoiusly not a genuine recording by Mantovani. It is merely another example of deceiptful use of the Mantovani name for the purpose of ripping off customers. This is no less serious than the sale of knock-off Rolex watches and Amazon seems to be willing to do this over and over again.

Back in the '50s and '60s being in love was in vogue. Or was it being in love with love? Playing the songs on this album while deployed in Viet Nam in the '60s was reassuring that there was a life and love to be had back in the "world." There is still a place in my heart for these good old classics. There's nothing quite like being out in the Gulf Stream on my sailboat listening to these cuts. Even during a storm they lend a feeling of permanence in spite of all the things that are going on - a kind of mental magnesia that allows you to focus.Enjoy, Capt. Smitty
