Their proficiency at re-creating trumpets and trombones with only their voices made early singles like Tiger Rag sound more like a hot Dixieland combo than a vocal group! That hit is here, plus Queen of the Senior Prom; Get a Job; Cab Driver; Dinah; Paper Doll; The Glow Worm; Say "Si, Si", and more of those intricate harmonies that charmed listeners for decades!

I own the LP version of this album, and I have attempted to purchase it from 3 different sellers listed by Amazon. None of the CDs I received matched the contents of the album listed: they weren't even close. (I did buy one of the CDs I received, because its contents were very different from any of my other Mills Brothers CDs.) It appears that the 2 sellers that remain are also attempting to sell the same 20-track CD that I purchased. It's a very good CD, but it's not the one listed.

These recordings are good for the Mills Bros. Fans. However if you're new to the Mills, then this is probably not the best album to start with. The quality of the recordings is a bit questionable, probably early, and remastering hasn't pefected them. But each song is a classic and representative of the Bros. Definitely worth a listen, but there are better places to start. Try 22 Greatest Hits, or Command Performance for some great recording.

This is an excellent recording of the Mills Bros. favourite numbers. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan.
